Everything You Touch
Went to the theatre last night to see Everything You Touch. Found out about it because Kirsten Vangsness is featured now that Criminal Minds is on hiatus. Written by a woman, directed by a woman, featuring one of my favorite women.
Had never been to the Boston Court Performing Arts Center. Such a great space!
Now the good and the bad.
Good: This was a wonderful performance. I'm a terrible critic, I know. I like everything. Seriously, though, this is a great play. I have been thinking about it all day. Complex and a little twisted. And a little odd. The costuming was mostly gorgeous and creative. Except the car thing. The costumes for the girls as cars was so on the nose it hurt, especially when everything else Jenny Foldenauer did was so cool, if a little weird.
Bad: It ends this weekend! Get there if you can.
Kill Me, Deadly
A few months ago I backed Kill Me, Deadly through Kickstarter. I'm a huge Criminal Minds fan and love the character of Penelope Garcia. Mom and I used to watch reruns together all the time and she always thought that I was as smart and clever and quirky as Penelope. I am no where near as smart or clever or quirky.
